Hannah Waddingham is a British actress, singer and performer, most well-known for her performances in Ted Lasso as well as in West End shows. Her most well-known work is her performances in the original West End production of Spamalot and the 2010 Regent's Park revival of Into the Woods, and The Wizard of Oz (as the Wicked Witch of the West). For her work, she has been nominated for three Olivier Awards. In 2015, she was part of the Game of Thrones fifth season with the role of Septa Unella. She was also the main character in the 2012 film adaptation of Les Miserables. Waddingham has been nominated for the Golden Globe Award. Since 2020, she's played the role of Rebecca Welton in the Apple TV+ comedy series Ted Lasso, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and the Critics Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2021 and 2022
