 Maria Elena Bello is an American actress from the United States. Permanent Midnight (1998) and Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2006), The Cooler (2004), A History of Violence (2006), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008). Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013). Lights Out (2016). Bello was on TV as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998), along with other prominent roles like Michelle McBride (2016 season), and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was the child of Kathy Bello (a teacher and school nurse) and Joe Bello (a contractor). She was born in Norristown on April 18, 1967. Bello studied political sciences at Villanova University. Bello learned to act through a variety of New York theater productions following her graduation. Bello has her son Jackson with her former partner Dan McDermott. Bello published a blog in November of 2013 about her same-sex relationship with Clare Munn, and how it ended.
